I think that the ZhuZhu Babies are much cuter than the mothers. I guess that’s true with most creatures isn’t it? We had an impromptu party with 5 little girls ranging in age from 3 – 6.
The packaging is definitely child proof. We needed scissors to get the box open and the babies out.
Once they were out each girl had fun playing with her own Zhu Zhu baby while I got the nursery set up. The nursery has beds, a bathtub, a scale, and a carousel. It was easy for several girls to play together with the nursery. The nursery has the standard size track that will attach to other ZhuZhu play sets.
See the Mama ZhuZhu on the pink extension? That’s what makes the carousel go around and the beds rock. Okay, I didn’t read anything and it took me a minute to figure it out. I was wondering if I had to add batteries somewhere, but I didn’t. There’s a place that holds the Mama still and lets her wheels go ’round to power the nursery things. It’s pretty neat.
A downside that I noticed is that the babies got obviously dirty really fast, but it doesn’t seem to matter to my girls. They have played with these every day and put their Zhu Zhu babies into every other doll house/toy they have – Fisher Price, My Little Pony, etc. There is no segregation in our toys. Plus, the strollers that came with each ZhuZhu baby work great for lots of toys.
The toys were sent to me for a Mommy Party through Mom Select. The opinions and pictures are 100% my own.
