Fire Safety In A New House

fire safety dogsI’m excited to announce a guest today! Dayna from the Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation has made a video for me to share with you. She had me blushing through the first part and nodding my head through the rest. Dayna and I connected through my Vlogging Tips site when she was looking for information about online video and streaming. She streams live with Sparkles The Fire Safety Dog and is very passionate about teaching fire safety to children and their caregivers.

Enjoy the video!

Here are some of the great tips she explains:

  1. Plan ahead of time.
  2. Learn two ways out. Make sure everyone knows how to open the windows.
  3. Have a meeting place.
  4. Make sure you have working smoke alarms. Replace ones that are older than 10 years.
  5. Practice fire safety every day.
I plan to work on some of these tips today. Thanks so much Dayna!
