Jendi & Devon with J&J products
I should be going to sleep. I have a photo shoot [sort of - hee-hee] at 9AM and I need my beauty sleep. I just realized it was past midnight when I told the MacBook to show me “today’s files” and it was empty. “What happened to my pictures?!” Oh, I have to look in “Yesterday” now.
Here’s what I did today:
Woke up early because I couldn’t sleep. Panicked halfway through the morning that I wouldn’t have everything and everyone ready. Heard my husband re-assure me, and even got the dishes done before I left!
Rode the Megabus to NYC. That’s a story for another time, but we [husband & I] did save money by doing that. We also arrived a half hour later than we were hoping to, but things worked out ok.
Ate at Pannera! I know it wasn’t very adventuresome, but I was hungry and I love Pannera’s food.
Got a free upgrade to a Queen bed suite at our hotel! It feels strange to have a whole nother room and no kids in it…
Walked to the Hilton. Got my BlogHer Expo Hall Pass. Found the Johnson & Johnson Lounge – with cookies & water! Met Devon – who works with Rob, my usual Johnson & Johnson contact. Totally plan to go back and hang out on those nice couches! Oh yea – Devon’s really nice too.
Went to the Expo Hall. Got my free mini biz cards from Moo Cards. The first person I saw that I know – and knows me – was Jessica. I was beginning to worry when I didn’t see ANY familiar faces. So nice to see another VlogMom! Talked to most of the brands that were top on my list: Verizon, Canon, Best Buy, Samsung [hmm, I see a theme here], Carbonite, and Udi’s Foods, and a couple others that weren’t on my list.
Got to meet Carley from Digitwirl in person! She was just as sweet in person as in her videos.

Joe and I met up with friends for dinner. Some I met before – Janine, Erica, Jenn; and 2 new friends – Jodi and Kate. Best part = the dessert.
Strawberries, Chocolate And Cream On Shortbread, but they call it something fancy.
All in all a great start! Tomorrow – I mean later today – I have a lot of things scheduled and look forward to seeing even more blogging friends!
