Paw Paw Patch – Folk Song

This week the folk song is about food. The Pawpaw is the largest native fruit in North America according to what I read. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ve ever actually eaten one. The song has spread farther than the fruit has. Seems like the Pawpaw has a lot of nicknames and a lot of ways you can eat it. I’ll let you Google it for yourself. Have you ever eaten one?

Do you remember this song from childhood? I’d love to hear from you.

If you want to hear the other folk songs I recorded here is a link to my folk song playlist.
