Have you seen the warnings going around to bring your animals inside? Probably not if you live in the south, and probably not if you live farther north where it’s typical to have negative temperatures. However, in Eastern Pennsylvania they’ve been telling us to bring our pets inside.
All of our pets are already in except for our rabbit. I debated if we should just give him more straw and leave him out – until I thought of having to handle my son going out and finding a frozen rabbit in the hutch. So here is a video showing us bringing the rabbit inside. I happen to like the saying, “Better safe than sorry.”
Once it warms up a tad – and I do mean a tad; he will be back outside. I really dislike cleaning up rabbit messes.
How’s the temperature where you are? How are your pets?
