Easter Weekend At The Beach

Last Thursday morning we headed for the Jersey shore. A straight drive to Cape May should take 3 and a half hours; our total trip took 5 hours. We did stop a couple times, but the real time killer was construction. [Many thanks to the inventors of ipods and portable DVD players.]

My munchkins are at a great age for tree decorating. Old enough to start getting the concept of spreading the ornaments around; young enough to still be super excited about it.

I leave the glass ornaments in their boxes and use ribbon instead of hooks so the kids can just go at it. I don’t have an overall theme; it’s just things I like.

What’s your tree like?

Would you have sung with them?
