Our much anticipated holiday breakfast is almost ready. The apple crisp and sweet potatoes are ready to add to my in-law’s table. You should see me cut the cranberry sauce – takes skill, I tell ya. The sleet is coming down outside, but my family is all here with me.

If you’re a regular reader you’ll know that I have easy entries. I usually only require a comment. I’m going to let these giveaways be live for 2 weeks due to it being the holiday season. Random.org will help me pick the winning comment and the companies will mail the products to you.
The qualifications might vary slightly from product to product [if Canada is included or not, etc.] so I will list those in the individual posts.

Lately my husband and I have been getting lousy servers in the restaurants we’ve gone to – but not last night! We had a great server at Olive Garden! It makes the whole experience so-o much nicer! Although, come to think of it, the bad servers do save us money because we don’t tip them as well.
It was a nice treat to eat out somewhere that isn’t fast food! It was also nice to have a gift card from My Points to help out with the cost.

We celebrated Independence Day on July 3rd. I think it was my favorite Fourth of July ever! It was really a nice evening. We even grilled some corn on the cob – for the first time! I read Yoly’s post about grilling corn and wanted to try it. It turned out wonderful. Although, the first corn of the season usually tastes wonderful any way it’s cooked.
