Annie and I will read to you – or with you in this video:
I’ve started another series type thing with children’s books. You know I love books, and that includes children’s books! If you want to do a video with me just let me know; I’m looking for more people to read with.
The HotWheels suite at BlogHer12 was fun because there was lots to play with. I especially think that this RC Terrain Twister is really neat!
One of our friends said that when he drove home from the hospital with their first baby he “drove like a little old man.” After I laughed I agreed that I knew exactly what he meant.
All at once the world was filled with danger when it was time to take our firstborn home from the hospital. Danger and disease everywhere! We got him out of that germ ridden hospital, through the smokers standing on the curb; and into the back, middle seat of the car. Shew! The baby books I read made it sound like the infant should be sequestered for months – not around crowds, not in malls, any visitors must wash their hands – and more. It was December and cold so it looked okay to have the baby completely covered.
Two momentous happenings occurred this week. I thought that I’d better share them because this blog is more than just a website – it’s a record of when things happened in my life. No joke. A couple weeks ago I was talking to my husband about when something happened. We couldn’t remember so I said, “I’ll check my blog.” LOL
This week my youngest [6 years old] decided that she was going to ride a two wheeler. I’ve known since spring that she is capable of doing it – and had done it when I let go without her knowing. However, she didn’t have the same assurance – or something – and had not ridden a two wheel bike all summer. Now – in the fall – when it’s cold – she’s decided to ride a two wheeler; and has just hopped on and gone.
