We are always excited to get new DVDs in the mail. So when they sent us The True Story of Puss ‘n Boots
It has bright colors that caught our attention right away, but the music sounded funny to us and kind of like a kazoo. We did watch the entire movie, but I’m not keeping the DVD to re-watch. Here’s some of the reasons I didn’t like it:
Disclosure for parents, in-laws, and any other interested parties: Playing with my niece does not make me want another one. After all, I changed her messy diaper before I got her to smile at me.

I received some toy trucks called Defiants from Mom Select and thought, “Sure they’re neat.” Then I gave one to a nephew as a birthday present and I thought, “Those are neater than I thought!” Thirdly I gave one to my son and now I think, “Those are cool!” So it grew on me.
The one I gave my nephew would spin in circles on it’s back tires if it was on a smooth surface. The boys thought that was great fun. Sadly, my son’s doesn’t spin like that – it was one of the first things he tried.
