Once, my oldest daughter had diarrhea for 10 days!  N-A-S-T-Y!  By the second day it was green and smelled horrible.
That was my introduction to Rotavirus.
She has thrown up when she got the virus, but usually she just gets a fever and diarrhea. The diarrhea was usually green because the food doesn’t stay in her body [...]

Yup, the mouthpiece.  Sorry, no prize for right guesses.
My 5 yo son was pretending he was the calvary.  When he “came home” for supper the mouthpiece was missing.
Of course he has no idea where he lost it, and he was only on about 5 acres of ground.

As I was sitting and rubbing lotion on my legs my 2 yo daughter came to talk to me.
She got a puzzled look on her face and asked, “Why you puttin’ butter on your legs?”
Evidently she only saw the yellow Vaseline lotion in my hand and on my legs.

Yesterday my second child turned 4 years old.  It makes me think, but it doesn’t shock me as much as when my oldest has a birthday.  Maybe it’s because I’ve already had a 4 year old.

In our house Mommy usually trumps Daddy when it comes to questions.
For instance, I can be up to my elbows in dishwater with my iPod playing and the kids will walk right past Daddy sitting on the couch to ask me to tie their shoe.

As I was sending my 2 yo to the bathroom I asked, “Were you eating the dirt?”
She quickly answered, “No.”

My almost 4 yo daughter eats about as much as me, most of the time.  It’s amazing how she can be a little skinny minnie and shovel so much food in.
