It was a constant struggle to keep the edges of this flower bed looking nice. Not anymore!
This is a tree on the grounds at my church.
I don’t have a before picture but it was just mulch out to the grass.
The grass was constantly creeping into the flowerbed so the mowers were creeping in too. Understandable, but I was a tad worried about the mums.
Plus, the shape of the flower bed was constantly changing.
I got a wagon, some gloves, and a small trowel and went to work rounding up rocks on the property.
It was almost like a puzzle getting the rocks to fit together nice. I like puzzles that aren’t too hard.
There you have it. A definite edge with no monetary output, just labor.
Do you like gardens with edging? What kind of edging have you used?
