When The Man’s Away

When your husband is away overnight do you tend to go to bed sooner or stay up later?

If you are single do you prefer late nights or early mornings?

Before he left I thought that I would go to bed earlier, get up earlier, and be wonder woman all day. Ha!

It didn’t quite work that way.

On Sunday I went to bed at my normal time.

On Monday I was very productive till about midnight. Sewing, Dishes, generally useful things.

By Thursday night I was up late reading blogs and watching Pride & Prejudice. Oh well.

Good thing my Mr. Wonderful will be home tonight. ;)

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what pet would you have?

I’m thinking of millenium times when the lion lays down with the lamb and all the animals are friendly herbivores. :) Horse and Colt with Fence by Jeanne Drake

It’s hard for me to narrow it down to just one. My own question and I don’t answer it right. LOL

It would be so neat to have a horse, but who doesn’t want a horse? Plus, I could possibly have one yet in this life.A mountain chickadee weathers a winter snowstorm in a pinetree by Michael S. Quinton

I love birds, but they are just not the same when they are not free to fly.
So, my first pick would be a Chickadee that would come when I whistled. Although I’m quite open to other kinds of birds.

A tame tiger would be my second pick. They seem so beautiful and graceful while they contain great power and speed.

If you are married when is your anniversary?

If you are not married which month would you like to have your anniversary in?

It’s much easier to pick your wedding anniversary than your kid’s birthdays. I know. I tried.

If you are a regular reader you know that my wedding anniversary is May1, 1998.

We are celebrating next week, and you’ll hear more about that I’m sure.

I have a bunch of short questions for you.

  1. Do you keep your ketchup in the refrigerator or a cupboard?
  2. Do you heat up your syrup for pancakes/waffles?
  3. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most, how much does your family use mustard?
  4. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most, how much does your family use barbecue sauce?
  5. Do you or your family use any type of hot sauce?

Now for my answers.ketchup

  1. We keep the ketchup in the refrigerator.
  2. We also use the syrup cold.
  3. Our mustard use is at a low number 1 on the scale. We hardly use it once a week, but we do have some.
  4. Our barbecue sauce use is about a 4 because we use it in cooking more than mustard.
  5. We don’t have any hot sauce in the house. Guess we are just a bland family. We use Spike a lot though!

Now I’ll do some housework and eagerly await your enlightening answers. Hope I didn’t overload my Aloha Friday by asking so many questions. Feel free to only answer the easy one.

My question for this week is

What is a feature that your dream house would have to have in order to be your dream house?

I would like a very large jacuzzi please. Something like this:

Jacuzzi

That’s me sitting on the sink. It was the end of our honeymoon. I took pictures of every room – with a 35 millimeter camera, no less. Remember those?

Do you think my heavenly mansion could have a jacuzzi? I’d like a library too, and a greenhouse, a sewing room, and a hammock. ;-)

Have a great weekend!
