While reading the April 08 update letter from Christian law association I saw this quote:

I firmly believe that every person or ministry is either moving forward for God or sliding backwards. There is no such thing as sitting still when you are in the Lord’s work.

May I always be moving forward like Paul who said,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

America Bless God!

I had my country on my mind as I read these verses recently.

Proverbs 1:32-33 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

America has prospered and turned away. Yet, I don’t have to be fearful if I continue to listen to the Lord.

Earth’s Military & God’s Army

A Fly Lady Podcast I listened to recently featured an interview with former Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell. Here is a link to the show.

Marcus Luttrell was talking about the attitude needed to make it through the Seal training. He summed it up with this saying, “There’s nothing anybody can do to make me quit. They’re gonna have to kill me to get me out of here.”

Maybe this is a big jump, but I couldn’t help but remember that I’m in the Lord’s Army. Will they have to kill me to get me to stop being a Christian? Will I let something or someone stop me from being a disciple of Christ?

Mr. Luttrell said that to become a Seal you have to, “Check the life you live at the door.”

When I became a Christian my life changed.
