Driving The GM Malibu

gm malibuWhen I first drove the Malibu all I thought of was the differences from our Suburban:

  • closer to the ground,
  • gear shift not on steering column,
  • had to sit close to the steering wheel so I could reach the pedals,
  • more people pull out in front of a car than an SUV. They do!
Then I rode in it all the way to NYC while my husband drove. It’s definitely very nice to ride in. Unexpectedly, my leg position was actually more comfortable than in the Suburban; and that’s without putting the seat back extra far. Not that I need any extra room; just letting ya know. My husband also agreed that the leg room is quite comfortable; but his head room was lacking. Other than that he said “It’s nice.” And that is why I’m the blogger in the family and not him. ;)

I’m Still Sane After Our Car Trip!

I think.  I hope.  Ask me later – my answer might change. That was a long car trip. Maybe because I was expecting it to be terrible it went ok. More likely that it was the prayer that helped.

This idea is totally stolen from Hannah’s blog, which is not on line any more.

I have personally seen each of these license plates.

  6. 2L8ULUZ – on 4 wheel drive truck
  7. CATS RV – on white mini van
  8. LIL TRTL – on mini van
  9. 2CUTE4U – was actually on the vanity plate in front
  10. DAS ME – little red car
  11. FOTO TWO – ? on navy pickup
  12. BOB-EE – another mini van
  13. OREO 13 – red Civic
  14. CONFDNT – Black Saturn
  15. MEOW LS – Tan Century
  16. JON WAYN – on a truck, of course
  17. SPICY 1 – 2 door sporty car
  18. LAST VAN – grey mini van
  19. WISED UP – another grey mini van
  20. TYDYGY – although this white van was very dirty, but it was in Feb.
  21. JEDSMA – on green jeep with lots of stickers
  22. SINK JR – older white mini van – maybe really mad at the kid?
  23. SEASHOR – white Eldorado
  24. FLIRT 06 – white Alero Oldsmobile
  25. YEEE HAH – silver station wagon
  26. JUST BUGN – red Beetle
  27. YLD PONY – Black Mustang
  28. MY TANG – White Mustang
  29. SCHNAT – on PT Cruiser (don’t know what that one means)
  30. and My Favorite, NO TOOLS – Black Convertible Corvette

Thanks to my husband for pointing out many of these.  Also for answering my, “What kind of car is that?”  as we are going down the highway with cars on every side. =-)
