Using The Breakable Nativity

I have our nativity set up where my munchkins can reach it. Yes, I could have used a non-breakable, child-friendly set; but it’s just not as special to me. There’s something about the preciousness of the figurines relating to the preciousness of the Christ child. There’s something about the reverence my munchkins use when looking at and touching the figurines.

It’s Getting Easier To Decorate The Christmas Tree

My munchkins are at a great age for tree decorating. Old enough to start getting the concept of spreading the ornaments around; young enough to still be super excited about it.

I leave the glass ornaments in their boxes and use ribbon instead of hooks so the kids can just go at it. I don’t have an overall theme; it’s just things I like.
