There is another McCord Sister Romance available from Christine Lynxwiler.  I enjoyed Cowgirl at Heart more than the previous story titled The Reluctant Cowgirl. In fact the hero and heroine from The Reluctant Cowgirl are included in this book, but I was ready to smack them both up against a wall. Their behavior really irritated me – yes, both of them.  I’m glad that this story focused on different people.

Andrew Stone and Elyse McCord are the main characters in Cowgirl at Heart. Elyse is a big dog-lover, groomer, and trainer. Andrew is a painter and journalist with karate skills. I liked them both. I liked her balance of independence and dependence.  I enjoyed the way he challenged her and protected her.
