It started in the early years of my marriage; and I’m pretty sure that my husband had the first episode of turning on the wrong burner. Back then I had pretty burner covers; but they burnt just as easily as the ugly ones. Of course I managed to turn on the burner that had a cover on it as opposed to the other that had already lost it’s cover. [Kind of sounds like a spy, huh - lost it's cover.] One time I managed to turn on the burner that had 2 covers stacked on it; but we salvaged the top one. I’ve lost more cookies sheets from turning on the wrong burner than any other way, and I never set anything plastic on my stove – never. I know what I’m capable of – or maybe that should be incapable.

Two Ways I Help Save Money On Groceries
I got desperate for some video topics for March Vlogging Madness. It’s gotten later at night till I start recording; and the tiredness shows. Anyway…
Since I’m a wife and mother – I might have mentioned that a couple times here, but wanted to remind you just in case – I spend a lot of time around food. When I needed a video topic I naturally turned to what I had to do that day anyways.
Here’s one about buying burger in bulk and one about how I plan my menu…at this time.
How I Make Homemade Iced Tea
I know that tea is an extremely difficult drink to make. I know that some people take years to perfect the perfect tea. Sun tea is great, but it’s winter; and I know that you’ve just been sitting on the edge of your seat to figure out how I make my iced tea. Well, here you go – I put it on video!
Freezing Peppers
We don’t eat raw peppers here. I’ve offered them to the kids several times, but no go. We do eat them cooked in with other foods so it’s nice to have some on hand.
Did you know that peppers are a great source of vitamin C? And cold season is upon us.
When I get a bunch for a good price I chop them and freeze them so they don’t go bad. If you have a nice electric chopper it can help you get done a lot faster. Just be careful because I turned one bag full into pepper mush.
It’s easy – and fun – to go to the freezer during the winter and get some pepper pieces to throw into whatever dish I’m making.
And that’s what Works For Me.
