Stick With Me Please

To all my regular readers:

That big number in your feed reader doesn’t mean that I have suddenly been more prolific in my writings. I’m writing a post and link for each Jendi Jean Bag that I have available for sale.

The boutique where I sold my bags is closing and possibly opening in a new location at a later date. That means that I have 5 bags made and ready to be bought!

You are wonderful to come and read my silly ramblings. I will be back to regular posts soon.

Thank so much,

Jendi

P.S. I’d be glad to sell you a bag. ;)

Lightning Bolt Jendi Jean Bag

This black & white bag was suggested by Bridget and is available for $25.00 + shipping.

It is made from a pair of Gap capris size 2. [Size 2!? No, they weren't mine. LOL]

The top is about 14 inches wide and closes with a black zipper. The bag is approx. 8 1/2 inches deep and lined with white cotton.

The front button opening can be used as an extra pocket between the lining and the jeans. The outside pockets are all still able to be used. The straps reach 11 inches from the top of the bag.

First Jean Bag

This bag made from a Paris Blues Jean Skirt is available for sale for $11.00 plus shipping.

That is a discount price because this is the first Jendi Jean Bag that I made. I have improved with each one I’ve made. No brag, just fact. :)

The straps are 9 1/2 inches from the top of the bag which is 15 inches wide. The bag is approx. 12 inches deep and lined with plain light blue cotton.

There is no snap or inside pocket, but the outside button pockets are quite useable.

The pictures will enlarge if you click on them.

I Always Liked Matching Clothes

The challenge: Make 3 pairs of culottes for my 3 yo, 2yo, and I with 3 yards of material.

The verdict: After an hour and a half of trying 3 different patterns…and lots of sighing…it just couldn’t be done.

The resolution: Make a skirt for me and culottes for the girls.

We wore them a week ago and I only had one pocket sewn on each one. This time we have two pockets each.

I actually sewed my 3 year old’s pocket to the side and it hung funny. I didn’t realize it until we were 2 1/2 hours away at my aunt’s house! Grandma and a seam ripper to the rescue.

I’d like to include a special thank you to my wonderful husband you took time out of working on his remote control airplane – on a holiday even – to snap these pictures. Isn’t he wonderful! ;)

Hope all of you have a great day!
