Saving For A Doll Baby

I feel like my children will appreciate their toys more if they have worked for them. My daughter saw this doll as she was Christmas shopping for her siblings and decided to save her money for it. She fed the dog and cleaned up after him and any other jobs she could get paid for. There has definitely been a lessening of volunteering since she has gotten her doll. Here’s a video about it:

And if you didn’t figure it out… We bought the doll from the Toys Section [aff link] of Target; and you can shop Target products online.

Color Blanks From RoseArt

These were part of my children’s Easter presents. Yes, it’s taken me a while to do a review. They had disappeared into the other toys – which is a good sign – and I had to have the kids bring them together for a picture.

Zhu Zhu Babies Are A Hit At Our House

I think that the ZhuZhu Babies are much cuter than the mothers. I guess that’s true with most creatures isn’t it? We had an impromptu party with 5 little girls ranging in age from 3 – 6.

The packaging is definitely child proof. We needed scissors to get the box open and the babies out.

Sunday Poem ~ Let Go

As children bring their broken toys
With tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
Because He was my friend

But then, instead of leaving Him
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried,
“How can you be so slow?”
“My child,” He said, “What could I do?
“You never did let go.”

Silly Bandz Finally Made It To Our House

My girls have wanted some for a while, but I couldn’t make myself spend the money on them. Our friends brought some back from a trip for the girls and they are overjoyed. Thank you friends! So glad you went to the discount store.
