Beach Memories

I like home decor that means something. This display in our bathroom reminds us of our fun times at the beach together as a family. Plus, it reminds me of the power and awesomeness of God because that is what I feel at the beach.

Does anybody know how to get a dollar bill out of a seashell?

Branson, Missouri – A Place I’d Like To Visit

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Lake Taneycomo at Branson LandingIn the year that my now husband and I were dating he went on a family vacation to Branson, Missouri. His parents have been there a couple times. His grandfather went there several times and visited some relatives in the area. Just yesterday when I asked my husband he said that he would consider going back there for another vacation. Easter Weekend At The Beach

If we choose to trust in the Lord instead of our six month emergency fund that is our choice.

Now that I’ve got that out of my system….

The Cape May Lighthouse

On Black Friday we loaded our vehicle and headed out for a two day getaway. We drove 3 1/2 hours to Cape May, New Jersey. One of the first things we did after checking in at the hotel was to go see the Cape May Lighthouse. I think that was the first lighthouse I’ve been in. We climbed all 199 steps that are open to the public.

You can see that my children are scared of heights and hugged the wall as they looked down to see our truck. Ha. [Read more...]
