Today I made a trip to the pediatrician’s office. Their phone was busy for 20 minutes before I could get through, and they have more than one line. Their office was hummin’ today! The nurse mentioned that this time of year is usually bad, and this year is worse because the weather got so warm and then cold again.
I actually take my children to a nurse practitioner. She’s been wonderful! Not only do we agree on parenting techniques; she is very considerate of the fact that I have no insurance.
To make a long story short…My 21 month old has asthmatic bronchitis.
This is a picture of what we got from the doctor’s office. Minus the lollipop that was on the end of that stick. They loaned me a nebulizer and gave me samples of the medicine to put in it. Praise the Lord!
If you think of me pray that the asthma will only be connected to the bronchitis and it will go away and stay away as she gets healthy.
Any of you have experience with a nebulizer? Any tips?
I will try to write a story/happier post later today. I know that sick stories get tiresome. 🙂
