I love doing book reviews and getting free books! I love going to the library book sale! I love finding books at yard sales! That means that every now and then I have to go through and clean out our books. My cleaning out question is, “Would I rather have this book or money?”
The easiest way to get money for books is from Cash4books.net. The site is fast and easy to use, they will pay me through PayPal, and they even pay the shipping! The down side is that they only accept the newer fiction titles or non-fiction books. If you want to sign up please click the graphic so I can get credit. 😉
My second selling option has been Ebay. That works better if I can sell a box of similar books. For example – I will sell a dozen of the Love Inspired Titles or a bunch of the 4-in-1 books. Make sure you charge enough for shipping, and enough to cover your time spent listing, packaging, and mailing.
A third option that I just signed up for is selling on Amazon. Boy-oh-boy, they take a chunk of change out of the profit! I just listed 2 books this week. I looked at what my net would be and if there was not much more than Cash4Books would give me I sent the book to Cash4Books. I’m waiting to see what happens.
If I can’t get money for the book I list it on my Paperback Swap Bookshelf. I can at least get another book out of the deal. Love that site too! I like to get books for my kids from PB Swap. If you let them know I sent you it helps me out too.
Last of all I will drop unwanted books off at my library. It’s a worthy cause. How about you? Ever used any of those sites? Any tips for me?
